There are so many blogs in the OC! I like to try and keep up with what is going on with all of them, but that can be confusing to say the least.
I used to just look at all the links in the OC, or on a blog with a lot of links, but I found I was missing some, plus it was time consuming. So I looked into ways to make it easier. The result: I created a live bookmark for all the blogs I visit. In Firefox you can do this, and then using the RSS feed from the blog, I can just scroll through a list of blogs and see at a glance which ones have new posts.
So what is your way of keeping track of blogs?

I have yet to figure out a managable way to keep track of all the blogs and their updating. Which is unfortunate considering I've stumbled into the role as the OC director of sorts.
Thanks for the suggestions. I will look into them pronto!
I use Blogrolling for the links on Six Until Me, and when someone updates their blog, I have it lit to show two asteriks (how the hell is that spelled?). I like to keep it One Stop Shopping at Six Until Me. :)

Allison, you're the head honcho! Good luck with your search.
BTW, I can't believe how fast you guys responded. I must have more readers than I thought.
Kerri, I like your method, but I am afraid of links in my blog, because I'm worried I'll leave someone out and offend them. Lol, silly, I know, but that is why I have no links.
I actually use Kerri's blog as my jumping off point, since I visit her blog everyday (sometimes more to check comment activity) and she has almost (not all, but almost) every blog in the O.C. Whatever blogs she doesn't have I can usually connect with somewhere down the line. I suppose I do a lot blog-hopping, connecting to people through all the comments and links. Not terribly organized, but I seem to manage. I think I hit every blog every other day, if not everyday.
I don't keep a list on my blog because I have enough trouble keeping the O.C. updated! I can appreciate people wanting to list all the blogs on their blog, but that's why I created the O.C. and I figure, why not use it?
While I support the OC website, I like having the links on my site, too. When I go to my blog, I like seeing who has updated. It's the simplicity of it that keeps my head from exploding. And I know that I have some regular visitors so I like being able to initiate their so called "blog hopping."
I do it the old-fashioned way, I guess. Bookmark the blogs I read and check them daily (just about). I work at The World's Most Boring Job, so I have a LOT of time to waste.
I should figure out blogrolling.
I love the live bookmarks because I can look and see what was updated without even leaving the page I am on. I'm going to look into some of the things you guys mentioned though.
I didn't think about how to track but want to now.
At some point, I stumbled upon a dad's blog that was last updated in December where he called upon people to get involved to raise awareness...cure diabetes....I can't find it again :-(. Anyone? He's not listed at the OC.
Wow you guys are so high-tech! LOL I just go to the main OC page and hop from link to link down the list...
