Christmas in April

Yesterday was the day.

The box came.

Note sample Ascensia Contour, sitting on my floor, without use, compliments of Bayer.

With presents (well, not really):

Hey, hey, no bad at all:

And the good news- I like the insets a lot better than the comfort I tried last week.

Yay! :)

What a relief it must be for you to finally have it up and running.

Are you feeling better about the whole pump thing yet?

Hey,
Yeah the accu chek spirit is working ok for my needs. It don't do any thing fancy like have a bolus wizard etc... but i don't mind doing the math in my head. keeps it active :) and the basal increments go up in 0.1u so you kinda can't have limited choice, plus it only comes in the colour blue. But I LOVE it wouldn't swap it for the world.

Congratulations on your pump, Megan! I've been catching up on your last few posts and I'm so glad you've found happiness as a pumper. It's a wild transition but once you're accustomed to it, pumping offers so much freedom. It's the best thing I've done for my diabetes in ages.

Again, congratulations and good luck! As Lyrehca said, anything you need, just ask!!
