I saw a new endo today. He told me I'm an ideal pump candidate. He had me meet with the trainer right away. And guess what. My cozmo is on the way. I think this officially makes me a pumper!

Yay! Congratulations!
It's a lot of work at first - but well worth it.
You will learn so much about your body and how it reacts to things.
So, even if it gets crazy, and you get frustrated, keep plugging along and know that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
And don't forget - you can always ask us about stuff if you have questions.
Congratulations, Megan! I'm excited to read about your switch from MDI to pumping. I made the switch about two years ago and it surprised me how fast and how second nature the whole process became.
I'm a 20-something year old working as an RN. I'm also in graduate school obtaining my masters degree. I bought my first house just over a year ago. I'm always looking for a way to save some change!

Oh yeah - will your puppy get fat if I keep feeding it puppy treats? :-)
Thanks Scott!
I think my puppy would be fat by now if he were gonna get that way. I feed him treats all the time. It's fun just to see my real dog bark at him.

Good luck and keep us posted!
(I can't get enough of that blogger pun.)
Hey, congratulations!!!
Cool! Congratulations. Pump starts can be hairy, but once you get the hang of it, it should be a breeze.
Oooo! Congratulations! Excellent news.
